Hotspots

Many businesses (coffee shops, inns, campgrounds, etc.) are now introducing hotspots and offering wireless high-speed Internet to their customers. These businesses are part of a growing marketing and operational trend to attract new customers, to keep loyal customers, and to develop new revenue streams with this value-added service. Travelers and customers are coming to expect hotspot connectivity wherever they go, and they often seek them out as part of their travel plans.

Hotspots are valuable for schools, libraries, public institutions or anywhere a wireless high-speed connection is required for multiple users. Hotspots can also be set up to serve temporary or short-term locations including construction sites.

To create a hotspot, Ralcomm will supply and install equipment necessary to bring high-speed Internet to your location-wherever that might be. Hotspots can be set up using an existing high-speed connection (either Xplornet or Telus Internet). Depending on the expected usage, Ralcomm will install regular or high bandwidth setups.
